16.03.13 Land Cruiser Mountain Park

We started out at our normal time.  Glenn had suggested our destination for this trip.  Definitely worth a look as it’s the largest 4WD park in the Great South East.  Heading north along the Bruce Highway, we take our turnoff at Caboolture and head west to Kilcoy.
Traffic is moving well at all stages, but about 2k’s before we take another right, we come to a complete standstill.  It seems that there are some road works halting our progress.  Expected delays are 15 minutes says the sign.  And it’s right.  We pull up in line and wait.

17.12.10 Peach Trees Jimna

Well we wanted to spend the weekend at Glen Rock again, but it looks like we are flooded out!  Let's try Peach Trees again, but this time we'll stay in the main campground.  It's another long weekend for us and my Birthday on the Sunday as well, so well worth going somewhere nice and green!

We've got Alex with us as well this time, Glenn's kid, so are taking so much extra stuff ... can anyone explain that?  Anyway, we get off a bit late, as we aren't as prepared for this trip as we think - packing wise.  We throw in the fridge freezer as well as the esky ... better too much than too little.  And Alex does eat alot!  Extra bedding, bed, tent, tarps, games, the electric guitar, pillow, a new water resistant box for the timber, a gift for me (yay!), and a Badminton Set ... and it all goes in where ever we can fit it.  I've never seen the ute tray so full!

31.07.10 Peach Trees Campground

Months in the planning and then after a five month wait, it's finally the day we collect our new Aussie Swag camper trailer.  To say we were excited is a bit of an understatement.

We really must recommend Aussie Swag Campers to everyone.  They put up with our phone calls and emails, and made the hand over very easy.  A fantastic family business!!  Thumbs Up from us.

This is our dream camper.  Swing out kitchen, comfy bed, canvas over our heads.  We love it.  There will be many places that we will visit over the years of using this camper that it will become a second home for us.
